The ask
One stage for the room, the campuses and the stream.
Crossroads Church wanted its Oakley auditorium to serve a 3,500-seat room, its regional campuses and its online church at the same time — a live-audience stage that is also an XR broadcast stage and a virtual-production studio. disguise led the venue build and brought in Concept Pixels to supply and install the LED: six surfaces that move with the set, carry one picture for the cameras and another for the room, and have to work every weekend from the day they are switched on.

What we built
Six surfaces, roughly 1,900 tiles.
Two automated doors and two stationary legs that track with the set, a 105-foot transparent upstage wall, an LED floor and an LED skirt around the thrust — roughly 1,900 ROE Visual tiles hung on TAIT automation and driven by Megapixel HELIOS processing, with GhostFrame commissioned across the tracked surfaces so the cameras see one picture and the room sees another. disguise calls it the largest use of GhostFrame in the world.
Phase 1 went in over five weeks in fall 2024. GhostFrame came online in February 2025 and the stage launched at Easter; it now carries every weekend service, the livestream and the church's virtual-production work — including the Super Bowl of Preaching in February 2026, with more than 30,000 people in the room across the weekend.
